Saturday, April 6th 2019, as a way of preparing for the Feast of the Resurrection, the groups of young people under the care of CMG took part in a retreat day in Sighetu Marmației, at “The Annunciation” Spiritual Centre.

The theme for the meeting was „Prin Pătimire spre Înviere”.

Accompanied by the Sisters, the young had travelled through a day of deep study of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ under the guidance of Fr. Iulian Budău SJ. The day started with a short introduction made by the priest, followed by the first meditation on the mystery of the death of Jesus.

Fr. Iulian proposed watching the movie The Passion of Christ helping the young ones understand that it is not suffering that saves us, but rather the love in which that suffering is lived.

The time passed by very quickly, but everybody discovered that is was just enough to feel the love and kindness with which God contains every step of our lives.

Concluding the day of retreat, we celebrated the Holy Mass, followed by a moment of sharing the experience, in which many times the statement “God loves us” resounded again and again..
